Does the Barcelona Summer Camp already include sports and activities?

Yes. The Barcelona Summer Camp includes a full daily program by default, with Spanish classes in the morning, followed by sports, games, workshops and group activities in the afternoon, as well as evening activities and excursions. Booking an optional sport is not required.

What is the Optional Football Program?

The Optional Football Program is an add-on for students who want to practice soccer in a more structured way, with regular sessions and a dedicated coach, in addition to the standard camp activities. It is designed to complement the language camp and is not a football-only or professional academy program.

How often is football training and when does it take place?

In Barcelona, football training usually takes place three times per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday), in the afternoon between approximately 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Training is organized in two-week sessions and focuses on basic technique, teamwork and enjoyment.

What happens if a sport does not reach the minimum number of participants?

For all optional sports, a minimum of three participants is required. If a sport does not reach this minimum, an alternative sport scheduled for the same dates will be offered. For football, if there are fewer than eight participants, sessions will still take place but will focus only on technical skill development.

What water sports are offered in Barcelona?

In Barcelona, water sports may include sailing, windsurfing (ages 13 and up), Optimist sailing (ages 12 and under), canoeing and kayaking. All water sports are subject to weather and safety conditions and are organized in two-week sessions.

Do students need to bring equipment? Will optional sports affect other activities?

For tennis and paddle tennis, students are required to bring their own rackets. Students who participate in optional sports may miss some camp workshops or activities that take place at the same time. All students remain fully supervised.

Do I need to book optional sports when I book the camp?

No. Optional sports can be added later, once the main camp booking is confirmed, subject to availability. Please note that each student can book only one optional sport at a time.
