General / Payment Conditions

Once we have received this enrolment form we will send you an invoice and payment details by email. You will be able to pay by bank transfer or credit card.
To confirm your booking a deposit of 250 euros deductable from the total (NON REFUNDABLE) must be paid. This deposit is not an additional cost. The remaining fees must be paid 2 weeks before your arrival.
On receipt of your payment we will reserve, on your behalf with the school service provider, your course (and accommodation if you had booked accommodation).
You will receive confirmation by e-mail of your course as well as detailed information for your journey and stay.
Approximately 2 weeks before the course starts, and once full payment has been received, the school service provider will send you the accommodation address and the map location.
Payment: Please note payments are only accepted in € (Euros). All bank charges will be your responsibility. In the case whereby the bank charges us a commision for receipt of your payment, we reserve the right to charge you this sum on your arrival.

Enrolment cancellations / Refunds
- Cancellations prior to arrival will only be accepted up to and including the last working day before arrival (Friday) and will only be accepted in writing (letter, e-mail or fax). Written evidence of cancellation is required and any cancellations made by telephone will not be considered valid.
- All cancellations will incur a cancellation penalty of 250 € of the advance payment.
- For cancellations made less than 6 weeks before the start date, the minimum charge of the cancellation fee is the cancellation penalty of 250€ plus 2 weeks of program and accommodation.
- For cancellations made less than 2 weeks or ‘no show’ of the student for any reason, you will be charged the cost of 4 weeks for the program (course and/or accommodation) plus all extras reserved in your confirmed booking
- Money for the course or accommodation be will in no case whatsoever be refunded once the course has started. In exceptional circumstances, a credit note may be granted. This credit will only be valid for up to 12 months from the date granted. At the end of this 12 month period, the students loses the right to the credit.
- We cannot be held responsible for cancellations due to Acts of God, health issues, or personal problems.
- All reimbursements we incur an administrative fee to cover the administrative costs of returning your money. The administrative fee charged will be 10% of the amount to be refunded (with a minimum of 55 €). Refunds will be made via bank transfer and will carry a minimum administration fee of 35 €.
- In the event of a course cancellation or course reduction, original prices will be applied whether or not the student has opted for a special discount or promotion. For example, if the student received a discount at the time of booking due to the length of the course, this discount will be lost on cancellation.
- Students who require any type of invitation letter to obtain a student visa for their course and subsequently have to cancel due to denial of the visa, must send an original official certified document directly from the Embassy. If Cervantes EI does not receive this document, 100% of the program cost will be charged. A refund will not be possible in the period of time between the student receiving the visa letter and submitting the application for the visa, including if the student decides not to apply for the visa for any reason.
- For cancellations after an invitation letter has been issued, the penalty will be the one explained above, plus the cost of sending the invitation letter if the student had selected the express courier option.
- Cancellations for students who already have visas will only be considered once the student provides proof of leaving the country and when the visa obtained through Cervantes EI is no longer valid. Furthermore, the cancellation will only be valid on the student’s return to their country of origin.
Credit Notes
- Credit issued due to exceptional circumstances is only valid for up to 12 months from the date of issuance. Once the 12-month period ends, the student loses all the right to the credit or refund. Credit is valid only for the geographic region for which it was issued (i.e., credit issued for Spain is not valid for programs in Latin America) and is not transferable to other students.
- Prices vary from one year to another and will be updated. Please take in mind that this will increase or decrease the issued credit amount when using your credit note.
Exceptional circumstances
- Cervantes Escuela Internacional reserves the right to make changes to the information on this website and in our brochures without previous notification.
- We are not responsible for printing errors that may appear
Disclaimer
Cervantes & Cervantes DEBLA SL, owner of the brand “Cervantes Escuela Internacional”, in collaboration with Spanish & Internship Consultant SL, offers Spanish programs in Granada through the partner schools Enforex and Don Quijote. Subject to the limitations in the terms and conditions indicated in the above sections and to the extent permitted by law, we will only be liable for direct damages caused by an attributable shortcoming of our obligations with respect to our services, up to a total amount equivalent to our commission.
To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for (i) any punitive and consequential loss of damages; (ii) any inaccuracy relating to the information of the partner school as made available on our platform; (iii) the services provided by the partner school or the accommodation provider or their failure to provide these services; (iv) any damages arising from the use or inability to use our website; (v) any possible changes (course, classes, accommodation) that the partner schools are obligated to make; (vi) any (personal) injury, death, property damage, or damage attributable to the partner school or accommodation provider whose services are offered via our platform, including cancellation, strikes, force majeure, or any other event out of our control. The offering of services on our website does not constitute any endorsement or recommendation of such services by Cervantes & Cervantes DEBLA SL and Spanish & Internship Consultant SL.
You acknowledge and accept the partner school is solely responsible and assumes all responsibility and liability regarding the provision of courses, activities, and accommodation. Cervantes & Cervantes DEBLA SL and Spanish & Internship Consultant SL do not act as the merchant of record and are not a (re)seller of any products or services available on our platform. Any claims related to the services provided should be made directly to the school/ accommodation provider. Cervantes & Cervantes DEBLA SL and Spanish & Internship Consultant SL are not responsible for and disclaim any liability with respect to such claims.
Jurisdiction and dispute resolution
These terms and the provision of our services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Spanish Law. Any disputes arising from these general terms and conditions shall be exclusively submitted to the competent courts in Malaga, Spain. Notwithstanding for consumers, the law may foresee other rules regarding jurisdiction.
