It is very easy to travel to Salamanca, with direct flights to Salamanca International Airport from Barcelona year long. As well as flights from Malaga, Tenerife, Palma de Mallorca and Gran Canaria during the summer months. Although, from abroad the best option would be to travel by plane to Madrid and then take a bus to Salamanca. Salamanca is only 200km from Madrid, taking around 2 hours by bus. Valladolid Airport is another good option and very close to Salamanca, situated only 120km away (1 hour by bus).
Before you arrive in Salamanca, you will have been given your accommodation details. On arrival in Salamanca you can either take a taxi or go by bus to where you are staying.
If you arrive at Salamanca Airport, also known as Matacán Airport, you can take one of the buses that connect the airport terminal with the center city. Or you can choose to take a taxi directly from Salamanca Airport to your accommodation.
If you prefer, an airport transfer can be arranged for you. With this option you will be met on arrival at either Salamanca, Madrid or Valladolid Airport and dropped off at your accommodation. Alternatively, if you arrive at Madrid airport, you have the option available for us to bring you from Madrid-Barajas Airport to the Bus Station where you can take a bus to Salamanca. Once you arrive in Salamanca we can pick you up from the Salamanca Bus Station and take you to your accommodation.
